Bac Ha

Bac Ha - Sapa

Also, Bac Ha, 80 kilometers from downtown Sapa, offers the visitor colorful markets of ethnic minorities and a lot of untouched nature. The most beautiful is this small town in the spring, especially around the Tet holidays (late January to early February). Then there’s flirtation and marriage season, and red and white blooms everywhere. Bac Ha is located 27 kilometers east of Lao Cai and combines well with a Sapa visit. The city is very quiet during the week and changes completely on the weekends: then the streets fill up with people from all over the province.
